FTC Compliance Notice: In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and the FTC's Disclosure Dos and Don'ts guidance, Armidillo discloses all material connections with third-party companies whose products or services we recommend or link to.
1. What Is an Affiliate Relationship?
Armidillo is a free educational resource. To keep this site running at no cost to you, we participate in affiliate marketing programs. When you click certain links on our site and subsequently make a purchase or take a qualifying action, we may receive a financial commission from the company. This is called an "affiliate commission."
Important: You pay the same price whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the company's website. Our commissions come from the company's marketing budget โ not from any markup on your purchase price.

3. How Affiliate Disclosure Appears on Our Site
In compliance with FTC guidance that affiliate disclosures must be "clear and conspicuous" โ meaning visible, readable, and placed near the affiliate link โ we disclose our affiliate relationships in the following ways:
- A disclosure statement appears directly above or below every Aura call-to-action block, visible before you click
- Affiliate links use the
rel="sponsored"HTML attribute to inform search engines - Our announcement banner (top of every page) links to Aura and is clearly a promotional link
- This Affiliate Disclosure page is linked from every page footer
4. Editorial Independence
Our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content. We only recommend products we have independently evaluated and believe provide genuine value to our readers. If we don't trust a product, we don't recommend it โ regardless of commission rates. Our Aura recommendation reflects our genuine belief that it is the best all-in-one identity protection solution for US consumers.
5. FTC Compliance Statement
This disclosure is made in compliance with the FTC's 16 CFR Part 255 (Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising) and the FTC's updated endorsement guides effective June 2023. We understand that failure to disclose material connections can result in civil penalties under the FTC Act. We take our disclosure obligations seriously and update this page whenever our affiliate relationships change.
